Why I chose photography?

Capturing moments in time was one of the many reasons I fell in love with photography. It all started after my first baby was born. I became obsessed with documenting everything I could and I actively remember telling my husband I never wanted to forget how small his little hands were or how his smile would reach his eyes. Like a lot of parents, I started to see the world differently, through my child's eyes, and the world became so much more beautiful and colorful.

 I value building relationships and truly connecting and learning about my client's stories. It goes beyond understanding what my clients want out of the session, it's about my clients trusting me that I WILL be getting their shots and having faith in me that yes, I will be that annoying person who will push my way through the crowd to make it happen for them. Being able to capture those authentic, genuine moments, is what truly fills my cup. I always walk into a session with the idea that I am going to capture moments that are important to my clients and pay attention to the little details that I know I would never want to forget. Some of my absolute favorite parts of a session are those in-between moments, which are full of unscripted emotions that truly paint a story. It's my absolute FAVORITE!

The rest they say is history because I started to capture weddings and elopements and I haven't looked back!
